Oh, thanks. I didn't know about that; I just created an account. The original isn't in FP16, is it? If so, is it possible to add the original upscaler converted to .safetensors to the repository? Is there much difference between this and the original upscaler? I'm not really keen on downloading the .pth file, as I've read that they can be unsafe, and I've only recently started getting interested in this whole generation thing, so I don't want to run into any viruses or anything. Thanks for the reply.
the original is in fp32 I think but the human eye, unless you have a particularly sharp eye that goes beyond what a normal human can see, won't notice any difference that's why most model releases nowadays are half precision, it is a cheap trade off and for a model this small it is not hard to use it in fp32, but I made there for using them as upscalers for image generation so the less VRAM they use the better.
I will try to upload the fp32 version but when I have spare time since I did this a long time ago, I don't really remember where I have the scripts.
