Placed copy of the Kimi-K3 weights on BitTorrent
I placed a complete copy of the Kimi-K3 weights on BitTorrent - just in case an additional decentralized mirror is ever useful.
Torrent details, and verified hashes:
https://github.com/aospan/kimi-k3-torrent
Don't worry, it's not about the model's weight. Just like McDonald's, KFC, or Coca-Cola, the recipe is free. For the USA, the most important thing is chip technology—the hardware, like GPUs and RAM. China know about this that's why
Thanks for mirroring the weights — having a decentralized copy is genuinely useful given the size of this checkpoint.
One thing I noticed while helping people get oriented: a lot of folks start the ~1.5 TB download without knowing which files they actually need. I wrote an independent reference that maps the official Hugging Face repo layout for the current revision — config.json, tokenizer files, the 96 safetensors shards, eval metadata, etc. It’s not the official Moonshot AI docs, but it can save you from transferring files you won’t use.
If you’re pulling from either source, the layout guide is here: https://openk3.org/kimi-k3-open-weights/
