AA-VL-4B-GGUF

AA-VL-4B is an open-weight GUI grounding vision-language model with 4.44B parameters, released under Apache-2.0. Built by merging an r=32, alpha=64 PEFT LoRA adapter into Qwen/Qwen3-VL-4B-Instruct, it maps desktop, web, and mobile screenshots to normalized click coordinates (0–999) or refuses when the target UI element is absent. Trained on approximately 7,000 curated samples using an initial 4-bit QLoRA stage followed by 250 FP16 steps, it was developed on roughly an $8 cloud GPU budget, combining click annotations with synthetic refusal examples. Under strict greedy pass@1 evaluation without cropping, zooming, planners, or reranking, AA-VL-4B scores 65.25% on OSWorld-G Original and 74.47% on OSWorld-G Refined, outperforming several larger 7B–8B models and narrowly surpassing UI-Venus-1.5-8B on Refined (74.47% vs. 74.1%). On UI-Vision Final Pooled, it achieves 29.93% overall, with 39.28% Basic, 37.75% Functional, and 14.21% Spatial, surpassing UI-TARS-72B (25.50%), UI-Venus-1.0-7B (26.5%), and Phi-Ground (27.2%). The repository includes per-sample JSONL prediction logs, prompts, coordinate and bounding-box data, and SHA-256 checksums for reproducibility. Available as merged FP16 weights, a standalone AA-VL-4B-adapter, and GGUF quantizations from Q2_K to F16 with mmproj.gguf, it supports local inference through Hugging Face Transformers, llama.cpp, and LM Studio.
